About Us

The Fletcher Foundation

We are a family-administered charitable foundation based in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The Foundation was established in 1981 by Paris and Marion S. Fletcher, with funds derived primarily from the business enterprises of Marion’s father, Harry G. Stoddard – The Wyman Gordon Company and the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

The foundation was augmented significantly in 2018 by a bequest from the estate of their daughter, Patricia Allen Fletcher.

What We Do

The Fletcher Foundation is interested in supporting organizations, programs and causes which enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Greater Worcester. It does not specialize in particular categories of grants or areas of focus. It restricts its grant-making primarily to the Greater Worcester area and gives only to non-profit (501c3) organizations.
